The Reality of Games

Apparently, real life and video games are merging.

The November issue of “Wired” magazine features a short article in which Rex Sorgatz maintains that real life is becoming more like videogames. The article can be found on-line here.

It doesn’t really seem that he’s making any startling revelations, though. As one reader commented, “When reality feels like playing a game…you know that you’ve been playing too many video games.” Which is probably true for some people. So if you are confusing video games and reality, it might be wise to step away from the computer, take a short break, step outside. . . .
